Motorola Kick Windows Mobile

CALIFORNIA - As many phones that run the operating system (OS) Windows Mobile 6.5, Motorola even give credit to the OS based on open source developed by Google, Android.

Motorola which is struggling from the slump because of its light continues to fade, it has long been a Microsoft partner in pinning Windows Mobile. But they are also a supporter of open source software, and even now focus only on Motorola Android platform just one.

So want to focus on Motorola to develop Android on their mobile devices, vendors are willing to sacrifice other operating systems in order to continue to maximize Android in every product they offer later.

"One of our main reasons to use Android for these systems using open source. The work in this economy, because it can not be denied that Android is basically an open platform, which provided for free," explains VP of Software Applications and Ecosystems Nokia Christy Wyatt, cited by PC World, Wednesday (7/10/2009).

"The advantage of the most experienced open source is a small expense. Because in fact, prefers Android innovation rather than spending," he said.
