Motorola has confirmed that they plan to shift to Google's Android platform. This plan seems to be an effort to develop a new division of Motorola handsets.
"Android-based phone that will be our opportunity to compete in the smartphone market," said co-CEO of Motorola, Sanjay Jha, as quoted from Feel Phone, Monday (3/8/2009).
He also mentioned plans to hold two major operators in the United States in this cooperation will distribute the device.
Meanwhile, analyst Wireless Intelligence, says Joss Gillet, supply chain and inventory management have been developed. Android-based phone portfolio will challenge the other competitors in the market Android-based smartphone.
